Today, some lovely ladies from lululemon athletica Classen Curve came to my noon class at YogaVerve. I didn’t think anything of them all being there; I just figured it was a nice little happenstance for me that they were all off work at the same time.

After class, they presented me with a check for $2500, made out to Root to Rise. I never saw it coming, and I’m still a little shaky. Lulu has a metta movement program that gives back to the community every year, and this year, Root to Rise was the recipient in Oklahoma City. I can’t begin to express my gratitude, and I’m starting to piece together in my head all this can do to help those we serve.

I’m honored, I’m humbled, and I’m forever grateful.
